Fear and Loathing at Rolling Stone; the essential writing of Hunter S. Thompson – Hunter S. Thompson

I’m not sure about that “Essential” in the title. There’s some good stuff in here, but also plenty of material that has lost its interest over time. As for the correspondence between Thompson and his editors, this is marginalia at best.

Best piece: the obituary of the author’s great nemesis, Richard Milhouse Nixon.
