The Eustace Diamonds – Anthony Trollope

Something of a detour in the Palliser saga, with the characters from earlier novels largely reduced to walk-on parts. No worries, though, as Lizzie Greystock develops into a grand anti-heroine in the tradition of Becky Sharp.
